Our OrthoAccess Orthopaedic Walk-In Clinic provides access to orthopedic walk-in care, without an appointment. OrthoAccess offers immediate assessment and treatment of sprains, strains, minor fractures, dislocations, and other sports and activity-related injuries.
How do I make an appointment?
Our appointment center team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to schedule, change, or confirm your physician appointments. To schedule an appointment, call Orthopaedic Associates of Maine, 207.828.2100 or submit a request for an appointment.
What insurances do you accept?

My doctor doesn’t work for Orthopaedic Associates of Maine, can I come there for physical therapy?
Yes, our physical and occupational therapists work with patients who are referred by physicians outside of Orthopaedic Associates of Maine.
Do I need an appointment for physical therapy?
Yes, appointments are required to be seen by one of our physical or occupational therapists.

Where are your offices located?
Orthopaedic Associates of Maine has physician offices located in Brunswick, Portland, and Windham.
The Orthopaedic Associates of Maine - Norway office has transitioned to MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The practice will continue to operate in the same location and patient disruption will be minimal. Drs. Barr, Kuhn, Piers, Wilkerson, and Wolf, as well as physician assistant Tony Simpson, will work with MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine to continue to provide the Norway community with high quality orthopaedic care.
For patients with existing appointments after June 1, 2024, MaineHealth Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine will contact you if there needs to be any changes to the date or time of your appointment. MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Norway office may be contacted by calling 207.393.3157.
In accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, your medical records will be maintained by Orthopaedic Associates of Maine. We will make your records available to the MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team for ease of care. If you wish to request a copy of your medical records, please submit a request here.
What are your current COVID precautions?
Face masks are optional in our facilities. Providers, staff, patients, and visitors are no longer required to wear a face masks.
Anyone may choose to mask at their discretion. Masks will be available for those who choose to mask. Patients may request that their care team members mask during face-to-face encounters.
We will continue to monitor any changes in impact that COVID-19 is having on our community and will adjust our policies and procedures, if needed to keep everyone safe.
