The OA Performance Center is a state-of-the-art complex. It offers athletes and fitness-minded individuals of all ages and abilities performance evaluation and a strength and conditioning facility — as well as access to fully integrated orthopaedics, sports medicine, and physical rehabilitation — in one convenient location.

From injury assessment through restoration to maximizing your athletic potential

The Performance Center is under the same roof as the OA Saco Center, with its sports medicine physician, X-ray suite, and PT center on-site. OA patients can, if desired, move seamlessly from treatment through recovery to Performance Center programs. The Performance Center is open to anyone, OA patient or not, who wants to improve their athletic performance.

For building speed, strength, agility, flexibility, and self-confidence

The OA Performance Center is much more than a gym. Our staff includes certified athletic trainers as well as certified strength and conditioning coaches. Our sports performance training methodology has proven successful for over 850,000 athletes and helped produce 1st round draft picks in every professional sport. Olympic medalists have trained here, as well as numerous state champions in multiple sports.

The OA Performance Center has a 4-lane, 50-yard track, a 30-yard turf field, state-of-the-art weight room, and much more. Some of the other services include:

How to get started

There are two ways you can get your child started at OA Performance Center.

  • Evaluation – Until an athlete knows his or her current level of ability, it is difficult to realistically recommend programming, create goals, and monitor progress. The Parisi Performance Evaluation is critical to every athlete in our program. During the evaluation athletes are taught our signature Active Dynamic Warm-Up, are examined during our Running Analysis procedure, and tested in a battery of physical speed and strength movements. After the evaluation, every athlete and parent meets individually with the coach to review the results and select the appropriate program that fits the athlete’s needs.
  • Speed Pass – Still unsure if our classes are the right fit? Get a speed pass. The speed pass allows your child to come in and try a class for FREE before taking the next step with an evaluation.


Membership Programs

Jump Start Ages 7-11

The Parisi Jump Start Program utilizes the most up-to-date research to build a young athlete’s physical foundation and improve coordination and self-esteem.

Our signature speed and strength training methods are serious, but all within a fun and friendly environment to ensure the young athlete is engaged and motivated to give 110%.

Total Performance Ages 12-18

The Parisi Total Performance Program utilizes up-to-date research on safe athlete training techniques and injury prevention as its foundation. This program uses our signature speed and strength training methods and cutting-edge coaching to produce maximum improvements in athletic performance.

Programming is broken down into individual focus areas per session.

  • Linear Speed
  • Change of Direction
  • Upper and Lower Body Strength

The athlete and Parisi Performance Coach focus on the detailed, critical specifics that are the basis for athletic success.

Youth Open Gym Ages 12-18

Open Gym allows athletes to come in and train at a time that is convenient for them, have a workout to follow, and a performance coach to bring them through the workout.

Open Gym Testing Eligibility

  • Athlete must be at least 12 years of age.
  • The Athlete must be a current Level 2 Strength athlete with 10 completed Level 2 sessions
  • Once athlete is ready they must notify one of the Performance Coaches to take the test, either day of or two days before test.
  • Athlete will take two proficiency tests: Warm-Up and Barbell Exercises
  •  The athlete must complete each lift with good technique and perform reps with weight based off their own body weight.

Private & Semi-Private Training

Private sessions: Created for the athlete who is looking to work one on one with an OA Parisi Performance Coach. Custom programs are created for private sessions and are tailored to fit an athlete’s specific goals and needs. These 60-minute sessions are the fastest way for an athlete to reach his or her goals.

Semi-Private Training: Available for athletes who would like to train with friends or teammates. These sessions are scheduled separately with an OA Parisi Performance Coach. A custom program is designed for this specific group’s unique needs. Workouts are 60 minutes in length.

PEAK Program

The PEAK Program is for athletes who aspire to fast-track their success in their specific sports. It combines 1 private training session/week with an unlimited membership (either Jump Start or Total Performance) to provide a comprehensive training package.

PEAK has an intense focus on strength and speed training techniques for an athlete’s individual needs, recovery, nutrition and regeneration. PEAK athletes are assigned to a specific OA Parisi Certified Performance

Coach who monitors progress and plans training programs customized to the athlete and his/her progress. PEAK has been proven to help athletes:

  • Run their fastest sprint time ever
  • Increase their vertical jump
  • Break their all-time max lift
  • Maximize their agility

Adult Programs

The OA Performance Center is open to anyone who wants to improve his or her athletic performance. It is much more than a gym. Our staff includes certified athletic trainers and certified strength and conditioning coaches. Our Adult programs offer a variety of fitness and sports training.

The Adult Program offers the following:

  • Flexible hours to suit your needs
  • Maximal fat loss workouts
  • Medical fitness program
  • Integrated rehabilitation program
  • Maximal strength/Olympic lifting
  • Metabolic conditioning
  • All workouts are led and supervised by our nationally certified staff

Elite Athletes

The OA Performance Center has several Elite Athlete programs that are sports-specific and are offered seasonally. These camps are the most comprehensive and well-researched development programs in the industry— they combine skill instruction, injury prevention, and sports performance training.
